I don't really know...I don't get irritated. I put a bunch of water up there and let it fall out. I do it about ten times and it's done. I know it's done when mucous comes out instead of whatever I ate the day before.

Of course, this is after I've emptied my bowels as much as I expect to that day, so I'm just going in for the dregs.

Eating must def effects things, including what you eat.i find it takes an hour of cleansing to be fully prepared for everything (size and roughness).
The water should run clear twice because the content in the upper bowls takes sometime to make its way down.

I cleanse every time I use the restroom... it's to the point where I only feel comfortable going in my own home where I know I have fresh enemas on hand. You rinse, you wait. You rinse some more, you wait... once you're totally clean... rinse again then wait. You may feel fine but all that water gets caught up in your innards and needs time ti make its way down and out. Once you think you're clean enough to eat soup out of... give it 15 minutes and I guarantee you're body will march you right back into the rest room. If you're clean and clear at that point, you'll be fine. Also, it takes about 24 hours to digest a meal so don't flip out about eating before sex.
