What I love about this debate is that the US has to have a category which is called Hispanic.

Which, depending on the scientific study you read, either goes into black, or it goes into white, or it goes into a separate category called Hispanic, or .... TAKE YOUR PICK!

You would have to be pretty dense, or not raised in this country, to not understand why Barack Obama pulled the majority of the Black vote. Considering the way Blacks have been treated in this country for centuries, to have a black man and woman in the White House is something most never thought they would live to see. Not to mention blacks vote majority Democratic anyway.

Remember how proud the Germans were when a German was selected as Pope? Or the Irish Catholics when JFK was president. Its not racist, its almost a validation after being overlooked so long.

Humans are hard wired to spread their genes, and leave a person in a foreign land with some time on their hands they will be getting busy. Parts of the US were formerly Spanish or French territories (Louisiana, Florida, Texas, California etc.) and had very different laws and customs about race mixing between Euros, Blacks and Indians, then the British colonies that make up most of the US.

Darker skinned latin
White people with sun tan
Mixed race people

Asian people who are darker skinned
White people wearing black clothes

How the hell are any of these people black?
At most, some have black blood in them but they are brown (latino) at the most.

Even president Obama is mixed race but everyone calls him black and he even uses that in his politics knowing full well he is not truly black. And all the black people vote for him just because they are glad he has some black blood in him.

I have been out with friends they'll be talking about people who I think are white and they say the dude is black just because he has dark curly hair! The guy might not even be more than a 1/4 black if at all. Its ridiculous!

Seriously, mixed race people in America with one Black parent were never given the option to call themselves biracial until only recently.

In the U.S., Whites automatically labeled Black folk with one Black parent....BLACK.

So for Obama to identify as Black is 100% normal.
