Why does she have to have manly short hair? She looks great but surely she can have nice shorter hair.
I sympathise with her, really I do but if it's the choice of cutting her hair to go to the school she wants to ... or standing up for values and not getting into the school, then cut it.
Sometimes bending with the wind is more beneficial than standing up to it and breaking.
