India is often defined as a subcontinent due to it's geographically self contained nature. The Himilayas cutting it off from Asia proper. India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Bangledesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal all fall in that part of the larger Asian landmass. You often see the word subcontinental used in terms of people from that area. Technically it's not the only subcontinent but it's the one most commonly associated with the term. Physically and culturally they are quite distinct from peoples from north or east of the subcontinent as well as those of middle eastern background.

Orient literally means "the East" - traditionally it was pretty much all of Asia both near and far east but to people from the Sub continent they may well define people east of that area as Oriental. Not necessarily as a racial term but a term defining people from a certain area to the east of them.

In terms of people liking people of a certain physical type - thats really personal taste more than anything. To me I look at Jennifer Paris, Yasmin Lee, Natassia Dreams, Vaniity or Bailey Jay and I see hot girls but each is physically distinct and quite different to each of the others. I'm sure some would like say Natassia because of her particular skin color because they simply find that particular look the most attractive but to me attractiveness tends to be made up from a lot of different factors and doesn't just conform to one particular group.

First of all , I find hot girls among all groups. In my experience Black tgirls have the best asses , and always found comparing t-girls of equal hotness say a 10 vs a 10,the black girl trumps. Even in Brazilian porn the hottest are the black Brazilians or the mixed ones,although
I love all t-girls,white asian,black,latina. I would agree that Latinas have the most hottest girls,but that is cause there are so many black Latinas lol,I like asian girls but they tend to be way to ung up on race and ignorance is a big turn off for me.

Is that just the world renowned general American ignorance of geography and culture outside of their borders in evidence here ?

in part, but also, the largest asian community in the large cities such as new york, los angeles and san francisco is the chinese community, so for most americans, chinese people are the visual representation for the term "asian" community to the point where the word no longer really represents the contient but rather the chinese people. for the british, i believe it's indians that represent the "asian" community.

one thing that disturbed me was the recent remake of the film 'the karate kid' starring jaden smith. the film is about a kid learning karate- but it takes place in china, and while am sure there are people in that country learning karate, this is a japanese martial art. also, the "sensei" is chinese.

this type of inaccuracy does show you the mindset of our current generation, because as it turned out, nobody even bothered to reply to your question or comments.
