    I do want to mention that the Dallas Voice article about her mentions that she was the very first person photographed for the Faces of Life project, the purpose of which was to destigmatize people living with HIV/AIDS.

    That doesn't mean she had it..it is a symbol for the living, and a sign of respect for the dead. She devoted alot of her time to helping the LGBT community PRIDE etc. Candis Cayne, Jennifer Justice, and countless other celebrities posed for it too..neither of which have HIV either
