Sure I kinda like the idea of it all and love seeing bareback porn, but porn is what it is it is an escape and not real life.

I disagree on straight porn. Condoms were the norm since the early 90's. At least in the bigger budget stuff. That changed a few years ago. More studios started shooting condom free; may in response to dwindling revenues.

US or Euro stuff? I think maybe more in the US stuff, based on what I was watching in the 90's (which pre-internet wasn't a great deal here in the UK and was of course mostly German). i do remeber reading a lot about regular testing for porn stars, etc, which maybe hadn't always been the norm in the 70's / early 80's.
But as I said above, Trans Porn was pretty much always with condoms until the last few years...

Strictly U.S. I should have clarified that. For example, I know Vivid changed their policy a few years ago to go condom optional, and director Chi Chi LaRue quit working with them over it.
