The reason people are mentioning race is the reason why when you move to a new neighborhood, you strongly consider race. If girls are providing services, as a matter of survival, they need to differentiate between doing outcalls to Brownsville and outcalls to Williamsburg.
NYC is about 25% black but 68% of the crimes and homicides are committed by blacks. People like to say it's "poverty" but look at anyone on the street - the newly immigrated asians are wearing "lame" clothing and sneakers and eating rice at home because they're paying for after school tutoring while the blacks are wearing bling and jordans at mcdonalds because they're primary concern is looking stylish. It's just different priorities leading to different outcomes and eventually different actions in life, generation after generation.

I think tgirl escorts can protect themselves the same way that gg escorts do. SCREENING! It is disheartening to see so many tgirls on eros/backpage/whatnot that do no require any provider references (2+ references at least) or p411 datecheck rs2k etc. It seems like tgirl escorts are much more lax in this area than many of the gg escorts.

I personally won't see anyone that does not screen - which I have found extremely limits me when trying to find a tgirl (where I live, haven't found any yet that I would see) when compared to finding a gg. It isn't foolproof, but I think it would help.

Most didn't, but there was one local channel that did. And it's surprising it was them. They've had several gay people working as on-air talent over the years, including Sam Champion, before he went to Good Morning America, and at least 2 others.

Anything to sell newspapers, I guess.
