Ipod Video - anyone want to give these a try?

They're about 20 Mb per video - hardcore clips/trailer.
I'd be interested in knowing how they worked as Santa never brought me a video ipod. Do they work on any other platforms?

What do you guys think of them as a promotional tool?

You can open IPOD videos with Quicktime

that is correct. works with quicktime. works within itunes. also worked fine on my ipod. these will not work with other portable devices unless there is no digital rights management and it's a standard mpeg4 file.

I think the streaming ipod video is overstated in popularity. The majority of people using the video feature are under 18 or early year college students say 15 - 25. They live at home or in dorms and it is more convenient to wank off in privacy with a small iPod like device than to get caught by their roommate or parents. This might apply to some married guys too.

If you think about the practical useage model of iPoD type devices, they are not overly abundant in the video space yet. If people are at home, they are watching TV or using a PC for porn. If they are flying on a plane, they probably aren't watching porn... I've seen people watching DVD movies and such on laptops, but not porn.

That said, when would someone use an iPOD video?

A) On a plane/in an airport
B) In a gym (I am thinking not, but hey you never know)
C) At home sneaking around from family/wife/etc
D) Maybe in a hotel room, but hotels have porn on TV and broadband now

I mean you have to be a total porn addicted pervert to need porn in your car or to be willing to watch it in places like a subway or restaraunt where people can see over your shoulder. It is a little creepy to me to think that some guy at the park, where he can't wank himself or get off is getting worked up watching shemale (or any other) porn.

Seriously... I think the real question that should have been asked is whether anyone actually uses IPOD's to watch porn, and if so, where and why?

Yes, I know that there is a space factor with an iPod, but one video, how long could one be?

Can it be as long as the iPod allows?
