Houston HS Student Not Allowed to attend Sr. Prom

The senior prom is a tradition that should go extinct. There is no reason for the school to be sponsoring this excuse to get wasted, high, or worse. You have kids getting killed in DWI accidents; kids going to the hospital for alcohol intoxication; kids getting arrested.

Let the PTA sponsor the event so the responsibility can fall where it rightfully belongs: on the kids' parents. Here's another reason for the school to wash their hands with this thing. Either suppress this kid's rights, or change a policy that will likely offend other people in the community. More unecessary problems caused by this unecessary event.
