Contrast between Tgirls and Drag Queens
I thought that this would be an interesting topic to present from my viewpoint, because being 20 years old, I was exposed to Internet shemale porn before I ever knew about drag queens who performed in gay clubs. When I wanted to see where I could find anybody who resembled a shemale locally (in buffalo, ny), I was informed by some of my gay friends who didn't have computers that the best place to go was club marcellas, a gay club that featured drag queens.
Before I went to the club, I thought that drag queens were another word for transsexual females (I was 14 at the time). When I went there I was horrified by the sight of these ugly men in dresses, with no real boobs, they always wore stocking (i was informed that this wasy because of their stubbly legs) and always wore outfits that would cover up their chests. This was back in 2000.
I found this strange be cause I was used to seeing to girls in all their femenine naked glory. I became disgusted and ran out of the inner-city blub, back to my internet porn at home! Thank goodness for Grooby!
Compare the 2 images, the first one is a tgirl, and the second one is a drag queen.

Your terminology is wrong.
A tgirl would refer to any person who fitted into a transgender (dressing as a female not FTM) role and that would include transsexuals, transvestites, drag queens, crossdressers.
Your making a point that drag queens are different to transsexuals - which is of course, correct (if not blatantely obvious). Transsexuals identify with being a female, a drag queen (although occassionally a transsexual) is somebody who enjoys dressing in "drag" which means "DRessed As Girl".

what is worth noting on this topic that many, not all,but many drag queens are TS in the making. Many dont have the funds to have any body mods, hormone therapy etc,and until they can afford that they live on both sides of the fence.
Of course there are many drag queens who have no interest in making the transition too.
