i will just add something here...i am a true pessimist and i believe very little that someone says to be about why they make the choices they do because most people rationalize their choices to themselves before they ever verbalize them to others.

so...from that starting condition...when you purposefully single out a "type" of person to pursue, you are clearly doing so because of a preference for something that sets them apart from the larger group. you could like blondes, you could like buddhists or you could like transwomen.
