south point...isn't that miles off the "strip"

if i remember correctly, that's like 30 min away from the major casinos

Tooooooooooooo Funny. BEST place to be really...EXTREMELY cheap room rates. Having a room down on "the strip" is soooooooooooooooooo for tourists. I have lived in Vegas since 2002...I can count on one hand how many times I have actually been down to "the strip" I avoid like the plague...You cant even drive fast down there cuz u might hit someone! Motorcycle cops everywhere....stop lights with accelerated change points....not for me!
