yes, the nazis did despicable things, but that we can now poke fun at them shows how we decimated them. role playing and dressing up is not condoning their actions or supporting them. if that were the case, no one should dress up as christian/catholic priest because of the crusades and kid touching...no one should dress up like a cop because of rodney king and amadou diallo...no one should dress up like anyone from the antibellum period because of slavery. where do you draw the line? where do you admit that in 2013, you are being too sensitive?

lol...its not absurd. i'm contrasting that in one political ideology, you can have dissenters and people that do not support every plank, as you do in other ideologies. just because republicanism is more palatable than fascism is irrelevant.


you have a very pigeonholed view because there are many other groups equally vile and hate filled racist, some of which are in the US (presently and in our history). You need to expand on your hatred a bit to be more inclusive. Stop being like the nazis and singling out one preferential group.
