i have mixed feelings as well.it looks interesting and fun.
one of the best documentaries ive seen on ts woman included nina spoon who never escorted and was drop dead gorgeous.she was truly an inspiration to me and what my life could one day be like.

All I am saying..is when I was debating this morning with a transgender activist..this kind of relates

She had no empathy for girls that were thrown out of their homes or disowned. So she can't understand why they'd turn to sex work or drag impersonation or stripping or camming. I said well of course it's hard for you to understand you lived your life as a man till you were 35. You had your families support and education. Many of these girls are young and have no help or anywhere to turn. They have to support themselves. Her response "They could work at Mcdonalds" - This is what annoys me about Transgender activist..they only recognize who they think is WORTHY..

I was an activist for PRIDE boards etc, but as soon as I entered the adult spectrum they turned their noses up.

I'm sorry if I don't find it hard for someone who went to college in male form and had a professional career in the mainstream, before transitioning.

There isn't much "toiling" in that.

It's easy to pay for such things as transition, when you have those years of support and security.

And it's much easier to transition on a job with out getting fired when you already have it.

This shit just saddens me honestly. Not every girl should be in front of the camera. We have to do better in choosing the right women to represent in these "documentaries". Exploiting girls who want their 15 minutes of fame when they look like absolute shit is not cool. It's a terrible look for the tgirl community. Let's at least TRY to highlight some of the best and brightest out here. I'm tired of seeing the girls who have obviously made some terrible choices with their faces and bodies. It's like THAT has become the appeal. I'd rather see a regular chick who can tell her story candidly yet still be respectable and interesting and beautiful. I really question the judgement of some of these "filmmakers". While everyone deserves an opportunity to share their experience, somebody has to do the hard job of making sure we aren't hurting the perception of trans women with this shit. This shit isn't a documentary, it's a glorified backpage advertisement...

A candid documentary on t-girl porn stars would be awesome! A documentary about college-aged trans women would be great too. It's not about being sexy and exotic, it's about understanding responsibility for the advancement of the community and what the world needs to see right now.

I was wondering what you thought of this..I was contacted by this director to do this. I declined cause I couldn't get behind it, and after watching this. I laughed. I know that's horrible of me...
