that's why that route is more admirable. because it's harder and fewer people are able to make it that way

Yeah. Bluesoul you are a loser. You know what happens when these girls can't get what they need? Same thing that happens to a cancer patient when they cannot afford their medical care. They die. In one way or another, they die. They are not privileged with any sort of quality of life, like you. I might have to block your ass for being such an idiot. It's more admirable to me to see a girl do what she needs to do, to be able to be happy and move forward in life so that in the future she CAN get a regular job that pays however many dollars and cents per hour. If a woman walks into a job interview looking like a man in a dress, do you think she will even get hired? Maybe she will get hired after a nose job, jaw surgery, and electrolysis. That shit costs money. How does she get the money to fix her face so that she can get a "proper job" or find a boyfriend with money...she escorts or hits up Grooby. Pow. Common fucking sense.

Okay - there seems to be some confusion and slightly off topic issues, so let me try to clarify some things about Transfix and Transfix TV.

Club Cobra hosts a Transgender night every Thursday called Transfix, for Transgender women, Transgender men and all of their admirers.

We are a nightclub. Specifically, a Gay nightclub, run by Gay guys. We have cocktail servers, gogo dancers and everything in between for running a club, Transfix Thursdays are no exception to that.

Aubrey is the hostess and is completely in charge of all performances, which are choreographed by Aubrey and her entourage. These are girls who love to perform, sing, dance and entertain. The performances are not burlesque shows or "sexplotation shows" in any way.

You can check out our YouTube page for our videos at http://www.youtube.com/cobrabar

We were approached by some of the girls to tell their stories and the conception of Transfix TV began. In no way is Transfix TV a Pollyanna documentary. It is hard hitting, graphic, in your face expression of the tribulations and turbulent, challenging lifestyles many of the girls had (and still have) to endure.

Transfix TV is a virtual nightclub and it documents the Transgender performers from the club. Yes, the girls do dance - no, they DO NOT get naked, there is no pornographic or sexual situation in the documentary, with the exception of descriptive language.

KICKSTARTER - The stories are real, the women are real. We have many women, many of whom you know, coming to us wanting to tell their experiences. This is why we went to Kickstarter. We need funding to help complete the next phases of the documentary. Information about how to be a backer, can be found here http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1827307797/transfix

An extended version of the Transfix trailer can be seen at http://vimeo.com/59081279

We are all open to answer any questions you may have, we can be contacted through our main website, our facebook page, or find us on Instagram by searching TransfixTV.

Just a reality check here--- the average female can't afford to have HRT and a bunch of surgeries. That's not discrimination. I don't know what you think the average person is making in America, but most middle class people would love to make $18 an hour, but to survive they have to work 2 jobs. They have to work in restaurants. They have to take shitty jobs and work shitty hours. That's not something unique to the transgendered.

Umm most females don't need surgery and happy with what they have..

They are comfortable in their bodies..so umm whats your comparison?

If women want to have surgery it's usually implants.

Nothing to do with the face unless a nose job or veneers.

Transsexual women spend tons of money getting comfortable in the body they are in..

I've spent about 50 k on surgeries..spending $10, 750 for my new boobs this year..

I spend about 1200 every 6 months on hormones for blood work and hormones

Then every three months I spend 200 on hormones

It all adds up..just to get comfortable in your skin!
