let us be clear...my starting position is that single people date...people in relationships (married or just serious) share meals and each other's company. The conversation, demeanor and intent of a meal is altogether different on a date with a potential mate and a meal you share with your mate.

a date is something you do with someone you are trying to get with...someone you are trying to impress and get to know. I would never think to take a date to Chipotle or The Olive Garden because it means I have little class and/or money. You go with your siggy to Chipotle (or if you must, shitty olive garden) when you are hungry and need food....YOUR GIRLFRIEND OR WIFE...the girl that just wants to share a meal with the man she is in a relationship with. That's a huge difference than dating.

your reference to Olive Garden is as a consolation prize so to speak, with a girl that you are not in a relationship with so it is a date...and its speaks volumes about your income and class if you take a date to a place a 15 year old is taking his first date as he tries to show her his first hairs on his balls.

and for the record...amber and i disagree often and i don't find her physically attractive, and i am sure she would find me physically repulsive therefore i'm not trying to coddle up to her opinion.
