The Penthouse Hotel, Pattaya Thailand

The Penthouse Hotel in Pattaya really looks like an amazing place. Rooms, locations facilities etc look great and best of all, they have GG and LB clubs on premises (I definitely want to do GG's and LB's).

This is something I've wanted to do for a long time, and I want to make it the best possible experience...I'm hoping there are a few people on here who have been and will post their stories on The Penthouse as well as Pattaya in general.

I've never met anyone who has gone to Thailand and hasn't loved it. Myself included.

But I think by just going to Pattaya for your entire trip (assuming you're doing more than just a week) or by just focusing on the Penthouse you'll be missing out on so much. There's some that swear by Pattaya and those that wouldn't go near it. Same for the Penthouse. Do as much research as you can.

Book the trip ASAP. You won't regret it.

I stayed at The Penthouse exactly 10 years ago this month. At the time they didn't have a TS club, but I guess they do now. I enjoyed the hotel. Pattaya isn't the prettiest place in Thailand, but if you've never been, then what the hell, check it out. But do yourself and favor and see other parts of the country. The beaches and the water are dirty in Pattaya, but you can have a lot of fun there. PM me if you have any questions. On my second trip to Thailand I went to Phuket, and found the beaches and water much prettier, and there are Tgirls there too.

There are many LB clubs in Pattaya, and it is relatively easy to get around town. In fact most are walkable of each other , albeit, if you are not used to a hot humid climate this can be a factor.
The Penthouse has been around for years, and in the past has not had a great reputation.
I personally have never stayed there. Hotels are generally inexpensive in Pattaya by western standards.
I know Penthouse offers "party" theme rooms with dance poles in the rooms, dim colored lighting, and video feed from their club ( so I have read )
I have also heard that many local girls think the hotel is haunted for whatever that is worth.
Pattaya as a whole is a great destination for P4P , it is not indicative of the rest of Thailand , which is a wonderful country to visit.
The last time I was in their club ( Obsessions ) it was actually split, ladyboys on one side and GG's on the other side. The club was large , but the hustle was high. I prefer a more low key atmosphere like La bamba, Anaconda or Famous.
If you plan to take the plunge and visit Pattaya , and have never been there, I highly recommend doing extensive research prior to your trip. Information is abundant on the internet. Plan your hotel location based on your personal needs and wants , not just close proximity to one of many ladyboy bars.

Don't limit yourself to Pattaya - I've had much better times in Bangkok!

the penthouse has been there for years in various forms (it was established when i first went out to Thailand in 93)- i last had a night there in 2009 - its fun if you want a night in theme room etc - but i would stay the rest of the time in one of the better "normal" hotels.
theres a club below for TS / GG or boys town across the way .
just a word about Thailand -be careful re getting something you might not want-i ended up with trouble with a capital T from Pattaya -id advise precautions!!
