Ticket Policy & Sales : Tranny Awards

Please read carefully.
The Tranny Awards is a "not for profit" event. Some of the sponsors pay purely for advertising and the websites or models who sponsor, do it partially for advertising and branding and somewhat to "give something back" to the models (one of the reasons we're the only award show with cash prizes attached to some of the categories).

We've tried to keep ticket prices as low as possible and given the fact that this year, we're going to have entertainment (hopefully half-time and after the awards), we're in a really good establishment (costly in itself) and we're bringing in a new host, I think the cost of the ticket at $30 in advance is well worth the money. It will be $40 (cash only) on the door but please, if you know you are coming, buy in advance as it guarantees you entry and we do expect it to be busy.

The policy for free tickets this year will be one non-transferrable entrance per nominated model, in the "model/performer" categories only. If you are nominated in multiple categories, you do not get an free ticket per category. Models must email kristel@grooby.com if they plan to attend to get their names on the list. VIP's should also contact kristel@grooby.com

Sponsors all get a set number of tickets and we will have to be strict on those also as the VIP seating areas are limited.

Please don't be offended if we can't offer you a free ticket. Over 60% of our tickets go to sponsors, models, press and VIP's which help make it such a great event. We hope to make some income from the ticket sales to off-set costs.

All ticket holders get a stunning collectable program as well as a "grab bag" of goodies, including DVD's, special offers and maybe more?

I actually might get a hotel room in the valley (preferably between North Hollywood and Pasadena) for that Saturday night. I'm thinking I'll be spending a LOT of time north of Downtown LA and Hollywood that weekend...

I'm staying with friends and fellow UP Networkers Bonnie & Wolf (BitchslapFilms.com) up in Lancaster for most of the time I'm in LA (which will be 12th to 21st), but Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights I'm taking a hotel nearby the venue for the same reason.

Damn! Lancaster/Palmdale is quite a drive away from the action...kinda like my drive from the Long Beach area to the valley.

FUN FACT! Even though I was born in LA, I've NEVER been to Palmdale or Lancaster...ever! I'll have to go to a Jethawks game eventually...

Hey Willie missed your reply. I look forward to seeing you again this year. Yeah, that's why the hotel for the three nights, so I can be only a couple of miles away instead of an hour+ drive. But maybe I should extend for the afterparty Monday night!
