The news media has ran out of real news coverage and is now out seeking
    tabloid journalism.

Or the other question would be why Natina has not cited Spike Lee's attack on Tarantino...is it because he is not a raving right-wing lunatic...?

Tarantino is a pasticheur, he knits films together from other sources, though for me only Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction stand up to more than one viewing, the rest being negligible; and that is an advance on the films of Spike Lee. Maybe they should collaborate on a musical...

She probably doesn't know how to deal with the situation. She doesn't know whether to back the one who supports killing Whitey on film or the little pipsqueak who just sulks around all day hating Whitey. What a dilemma.

You know she tries to interject her racial hatred anyway she can. Unfortunately she gets away with it. Wonder how much rope I would be given if I were to attack her people as often as she goes after mine. She'd be a weepy loose-ass strawberry if I sunk to that level.

I do think it's time to put the soap boxes away and squash the problem with a ban hammer.

Not to change the subject, but I heard Spike Lee is going to do "Oldboy" next...hope he doesn't fuck that up because I really enjoyed that movie.

Park Chan-wook is, at least, a decent filmmaker. How will Spike try to change the original story around to fit in the same library with the other crap he makes?

I don't know...I just can't envision it. I really enjoyed all the vengeance movies....I loved "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" the most. I hope Spike isn't going to tackle all three of 'em. The other problem is...if you've already seen the originals...how are you going to keep the surprises fresh?

I like all 3 too. JSA and Thirst(Vampire film) are worth seeing too. He also directed a story in Three... Extremes.

Saw "Three...Extremes"...enjoyed them (Fruit Chan's"Dumplings"..is probably the best known of the three)...Haven't seen "Three extremes 2" on Netflix yet...don't think he directed anything in that anyway.

Haven't seen JSA yet, but I will.

Saw "Thirst" and was a bit disappointed.

JSA is more of a drama but very good.
