I plan to go to mexico city on the 17th of january on business and i would like to go to a bar frequented by shemales to hang out and hopefully hook up for some hot sex.

If anybody has any experience with this, I'd love to hear your suggestions!

I'll be staying in polanco, and i would prefer something close by.

I will be visiting Mexico City and staying at the Holiday Inn Universidad and was wondering there are any clubs or bars near by to meet shemales.

Universidad area is in the south part of the city. I am not aware of bars and clubs that cater to transgenders in that part of town. Most of the gay bars which may also include TS ladies are in the so called "Zona Rosa", which is closer to the center of town and quite far from Universidad. However, I have yet to find a good bar to meet girls informally, and if what you want is an escort, your best bets are on internet: (1) A site with a wealth of information including links, chat forum and escort ads:

One thing I like to do is ride the subway line 2 direction to Taxqueña, between San Antonio Abad station and Nativitas station this line moves on the surface of Tlalpan Boulevard and you can see from the train lots of shemales on the street, especially after Viaducto station. If you see one you like, you can get off and perhaps even walk around. There is lots of traffic and people, so the area is quite safe and you will also see lots of police, who are there to protect you not to harass you. There are also many hotels and restaurants in the area in case you hook up. Good luck and enjoy. If you like latino women, you will be in shemale paradise.

I forgot to say, if you go to Tlalpan Boulevard, the best time to visit is between 9 and 11 pm. Also, Subway line 2 to Taxqueña is going in general direction South, parallel to the subway line that takes you to Universidad, but not that close. Distances in Mexico City can be a problem. However, a taxi ride from one subway line to the other should cost no more than $10 dollars. Keep in mind Tlalpan Boulevard is a stroll, so do not expect a very high class area. And, one last bit of advise: keep in mind that the web sites I recommended are in Spanish and most girls will only speak Spanish.

I have met tgirls both on Tlalpan Boulevard and through internet using the sites I recommended. One girl I met on Tlalpan Boulevard was really, REALLY beautiful and we dated every time I went to Mexico City for 7 years, until she moved to Guadalajara, a city I do not have a chance to visit. The first time we met, I was riding the subuway line as described above and I just saw her walking down the street. I got off at the next station and walked towards her. We went to a local hotel (a couple of blocks away) and ordered drinks. Lovely time and a great experience, but I just got lucky, on Tlalpan, as on any stroll you will find a mix of the good, the bad and the ugly. I have been there many times and never felt unsafe. As I mentioned, there is police presence but they are there to protect and not to harass (unlike the US where the police seem to have nothing better to do than harass girls and customers alike). I have met other girls in the area with mixed results. The girls I have met through Travestis Mexico have all been nice and educated. This site is comparable to "Eros" in the US and you can expect similar results. Overall, I find tgirls in Mexico City nice and many are really pretty (like the one I dated). In general they are more passionate and less "street wise" than the girls I have met on strolls in the US. Fortunatley I speak Spanish and that might help me be successful.

When I went to Juarez in boys town there were 2 clubs that were basically like topless clubs/whorehouses but with ts girls there has to be something like that in Mexico City, one of the biggest cities in the world, or even a gay club that attracted a lot of ts girls?

My experience is that border towns like Juarez, Tijuana and Nuevo Laredo are very, VERY different from the rest of Mexico. In a way, border towns have their own culture that makes them look and feel like the stereotypes Americans have of Mexico, as they try to attract people from north of the border. So, I would not extrapolate from Juarez to any other city in Mexico. Having said that, yes, there are probably gay clubs that attract transgenders or feature transsexual shows in Mexico City. These clubs are likely to be either in "Zona Rosa" or in a section of Insurgentes Boulevard close to Zona Rosa. EVen though I like "Zona Rosa" for the restaurants, hotels and shops, I have not yet found a gay club in Mexico City where I feel comfortable. These clubs are not catering to gringos coming to party from accross the border, but to the local gay community in Mexico City, which has its own dynamics... dynamics which make me uncomfortable, not because they are unsafe, but because I just do not belong there. To find transgender friendly bars in Mexico City, you may want to search the forums and articles in "travestismexico.com". Frankly, I did search too hard given that I dated the same girl in Mexico City for 7 years, and did not care to meet anyone else... Yes, that girl was that nice, and as I mentioned, I met her on Tlalpan Boulevard almost by accident.
