True enough. I'm lucky to be Norwegian, have a steady job, suffer no chronic illnesses and be young in the era in the History of History (tm) where I can expend energy as frivolously as an Emperor or King of the past. In Norwegian I'd say that I'm "blasert", in English one might say that I'm desensitized, bored or boring or just a habituated spoiled brat. Ah, the malaise of Generation Y.
