Then you will be so far into diet/fitness and biz that that you will forget about being 30.
God I hated being 30 with a passion! Trouble is nowadays, I would LOVE to be being 30 again.

just stay on a low gluten/low glycemic diet. No white bread and very little whole wheat (brown rice is cool). Also eat alot of Spinach (cooked and raw), sweet potatoes (vitamin A for cellular turnover), and Garlic (liver detox and overall anti aging antioxidants). Along with these things you can eat any type of meat you like but dont eat fruit along with your meat because they digest at different rates. Also take a daily hair skin and nails vitamin that contains atleast 3000 mcg's of biotin.

The last escort girl I visited with told me outright I looked like I was 15. The one before that said 17. I would love to be either again, and I'm only 23. One even said it was awkward because my presence induced motherly feelings, that was an odd experience.
Anyway, it's like Harajukudollxoxo says much better than me: the caloric deficit will shred the fat whilst strength training will, while you are losing mass/fat, maintain most (or all) of your muscle mass. After reaching your desired body fat % you will need to be in caloric surplus to put on muscle mass. You will not get bulky.
As for myself, I will continue on my path toward acquiring more practical strength. In November I was able to do exactly 1 dead-hang perfect pull-up and it took me a mere 2 months to work myself up to 40 (total volume over 15 minutes, 8 sets à 5 reps). I haven't added muscular mass because I'm at a deficit (trying to lose some fat before I start a slow bulk to accommodate further strength increases). It's really interesting how you can make use of the strength you currently possess through central nervous system adaptation!
As for food, my staple is whole fat milk, eggs, oatmeal, ground beef (5% fat), various fruits and vegetables. As long as I'm at a deficit or surplus according to my goals the macronutrient composition isn't all that important (at least not important enough to consider micromanaging whether you have 150 or 200 grams of protein or similar). I guess if you aspire to being a bodybuilder or compete in fitness competitions or some such its usefulness increases, but I just want to look good and have practical strength.

I think some men are confused that I'm trying to lose weight.
I just want to keep my tone, cause I know after 30. Your body starts to soften and flab shows up. I don't want that to happen.
I like my body, I have just cut out a lot of bad eating in the last two years.
Trying to do that even more this year.
So I'll keep my body.
