She has her own show and I enjoy her judging work (unlike that douchebag Scott Conant) on Chopped and FFS like her opponent, she's also an executive chef!!! (Many people don't understand how hard it is to obtain that position in the culinary field. It takes years and YEARS of nothing, but hard work!)

I like Amanda, but Alex totally deserved it!

You can't give Alex points for frowning. Amanda Freitag, while not amusing, has a frown that could burn a hole through satan. It's honestly frightening, like she's about to start growling "Apple Fritter . . . Why is this Apple Fritter in my kitchen . . . I Told You NO MORE APPLE FRITTERS EVER!!!!"

Actually I'm not going to give up on the show just yet. The judges are frequently the most amusing part anyways. If they had Donatella Aepia, Andrew Knowlton and Michael Ruhlman on all the time it would be amazing. I think Ruhlman only appears on the show to wait to hear Knowltons opinion, then argue with him. Donatella is probably the single reason those two haven't gotten into a fist fight yet.

I do agree that Scott Conant is a douche, though.

I wonder if Alex is going to bully Aaron Sanchez into being her sous chef?

I used to work with Scott and he's actually a pretty chill guy. Everyone puts up a front on tv and you dont know, they may have him act a certain way on Chopped.
