Do we need makeup to "pass" or at least turn you on?

It depends on the trans woman for me. A nice complimentary shade of lipstick never made a trans woman look less attractive. Foundation, rouge, excessively dark eyelashes, and the colored I eyelids makes it a toss-up. The natural look is preferred because this is the woman you will see in your mind most of the time.

first time poster, i think you look like an attractive woman without make-up, and more trans with. like the second poster said it's a case by case. i havent seen many trans without to make a general consensus, or if i have i didnt know

well of course because i posted a pic of myself with makeup on this trans site, which cues you right away...

i have posted my pics with makeup on other straight dating sites and no one ever pegs me for being trans

I like them all as long as they look passable. Usually very passable. The only exception would be a dominitrix look with a whip or something like that then I don't care how good they look, not into that.
