Was that the 48 frame rate one? I was deciding whether to go see the 24 frame rate or the 48... I heard the 48 gives the movie that fake, soap-opera look.

It was the 24 frame rate. But yeah, I really enjoyed it.

Haven't seen but i hear the 48 fps is supposed to make things more "lifelike" So i i guess that means fantasy has become reality???

Go see the 48 frame rate version - if you dont like the way it looks just blink twice as much - should all even out and it will be fine...

saw a screener of it. Was fantastic and continues in the same tone and style as Lord Of the Rings Trilogy.

some of the reviews are mixed but if you liked LOTR then you'll like this.
