I tried searching for this topic on this forums but found none... FFS was a hot topic on another forum, probably because that forum is dominated by mostly late transitioners (white MTFs in their late 40s or 50s) and most of them actually do need FFS, because you know, to transition that LATE in life after years of testosterone's influence on the face....

What is your stand on FFS? Too much or what?

Wait till you are 40 to transition...well......less dramatic effects take place.

I been considering FFS a lot. I don't "NEED" it (I pass without it a lot).... but, it would make me look better, and, well, that would be nice.

There are just so many risks that come with it (and it is expensive). I don't mind surgeries, just they are traumatic to go through.

I hear that the jaw work is the most painful procedure to go through, even more than SRS itself.... I think I look fine but I just would like to do a hairline lowering.

seriously? Jaw work is the only thing I want to get done, but DAMN if it hurts more than srs, i may pass..

Yeah... I think not the only actual physical pain from itself, too... but for the fact that it basically makes eating HELL for the next several months.

Chin , Jaw, Nose, Brow, lips for me (I'm a perfectionist ~_~).

On one hand, it is just a bunch of money and a few months feeling horrribbleee.

On the other hand, it could kill you or mess up your face and damage all sorts of nerves so you can't even talk right.

Hmmm.... it is really a tricky thing. If I were to do it, I would want to get as much at once done though (since, well, if it takes a few months for just a nose-job to go down, might as well get it all over with and get on with life).

Maybe some day... in a year or two ~_~

I have read stories, viewed some pics.... the jaw reduction/realignment procedure by far ranked as the most painful... and the recovery time was no peach either.

Also, while you are recovering from SRS, it is easily disguised because it is all in your pants...

But with your face... tons of swelling and bruising...

Yeah.. they basically take apart your jaw and reconstruct it again...
