I'm kind of appalled that in this day and age, natural black hair is still fashionably "taboo" just because the beauty industry wants to cash in on overpriced weaves and gallon-size tubs of relaxer. I don't think I'll ever understand why black women want straight hair that badly. I don't think it looks better; just different. $300 for a hair style besides all the work it takes to weave the weave in? I mean, it's your money and your decision, and it does look awesome, but damn. Just damn.

It does lead me to the fridge, TV, and couch a lot, though. I do some of my best graphic design work blazed, so I guess that's a plus. Anyway, I've completely derailed your post.
