I'm a solo performer, so the question never arises. And in my niche, acoustic singer-songwriter, the opportunity rarely arises either. You're always knackered after driving 200 miles from one gig and then 300 miles to the next.

I was lucky last night, only 100 mile round trip from home. And you know what? I was really glad to get back to my own bed and a bit of peace....

I was in a band, years ago. We played at this bar, and the keyboard player got a phone number from this pretty, but clockable, tgirl. He tried to act like he didn't know, and the other bandmates were clowning him with the whole "she's a man" routine. He still tried to play it off, as if he didn't know. I didn't say anything during that whole bit. I never revealed that I, too, had a thing for tgirls. If I had to do it again, I'm not sure what I'd do.
