Many scenes were indeed shot in Glasgow. Some of the (almost without exception overweight) extras were interviewed for Reporting Scotland, the BBC Scottish news programme.

It was then that I realised it wasn't Glasgow's likeness to Philidelphia (or wherever it was meant to be) that brought the producers here, but the fact that they wouldn't need any make up for their zombie extras ...

A friend saw it on sunday and it wasn't bad until the last 10 minutes . I saw This Is The End on sunday . Although it had it's moments it pretty much sucked .

It's rated pg-13 in the usa, so don't expect much ...... action so to speak . My friend said the action is not upclose .

I wish they made it more true to the novel. But hey its hollywood.
