We tried to push webcam last year -- I think of all the suggestions it's the one truly different from the other awards. It really flexes an entirely different set of "muscles" from porn. Seanchai's typically resisted it based on the difficulty of judging the body of work.

I'd think the nominees are all pretty obvious - maybe Jizellle from tgirlcams and also Skylene from iFriends ought to also be on that list. The challenge is determining how do you judge the best?

Maybe once nominees are selected they submit a recorded session for judging? Or alternatively do a cam off -- have a set period of time where the girl who logs the most billable minutes? Have each nominee do a show for the judge panel?

If this is going to be a viable category -- that's the logistic to work out.

Maybe a "Queen of Social Media" award for women who have successfully used Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr etc to extend their brand and connect with fans? You could use objective metrics like followers and mentions in addition to votes.

As for category, I'd love to see "best Asian" or "best non-American" or something to that effect for the girls who are not part of the scene in this country but are very active in other parts of the world. But again, probably going too granular.

how do you quantify best webcam girl? are you going to ask about their buy rate? it seems difficult to really nail down unless the judges all cam with you anonymously to compare since at any given time, YMMV

To be fair, the top TS names in the webcam biz are all pretty visible - there's maybe a handful of us who do great trade in it and none of it's a secret who's done well for themselves in terms of fans and fan base. It's narrowing down from that point which becomes an issue.
