the thumbs up/down thing has been used in odd ways since its inception. posts that i thought would be rated low, were thumbed up. posts that i thought would be rated high are not rated at all. its all just subjective and being used punitively as payback for simply not agreeing with someone with reckless abandon to any validity to the post.
