Some will postpone their transition or alter their dosage and some won't.
The ones that do usually end up spinning their wheels in favor of a disposable month-to-month income. I think it's respectable that you're not trifling like that.

well i try to think of life after the industry and my over all health.cycling on and off hormones or not taking the full dosage does more harm to your body and transition.if your not properly suppressing your testosterone your body is just going to over compensate in an attempt to balance out the body's hormone levels.
once i leave this industry im the one that has to live in my skin.hormones is a big part of what makes one passable.i for one want to live and work within society as a woman with as much ease as possible.
i have a friend who stopped taking hormones in order to be successful in the industry and i cant help but notice that her level of confidence has suffered when it comes to dealing with the general public in day to day situations.this was once a girl who worked a normal job and pretty much lived a normal life as a woman.now she has so much anxiety about going outside and interacting with normal society because of perceived changes in her body.

That's sad to hear about your friend.
You on the other hand, have a good head on your shoulders. I wish you the best.
