hi, i'm kinda new to nor-cal and well i want to go to san fran to some tranny bars. ummm, can someone help with some info? like i live a couple hours outside of the city and ill have to drive in. is parking in the city tough? expensive? what are good transbars on the weekend? is it safe for a single girl like me?

Divas is three floors of fun and should be an interesting experience for you; there is an Asian-themed restaurant called AsiaSF where the waitresses are all Ts and I think either from Thailand or the Philippines, but probably not the place to go on your own, and needs a booking at weekends. There are some clubs but I am not the best person to ask on that scene. There might be some posters here who are willing to show you round, San Francisco is a generally great city by any standards.

Parking is ok at the weekends - San Francisco is an easy city to find your way around.
Diva's is fun - start in the bar downstairs and have a drink a the bar to get a feel for the place and then wander around. I might be there in a couple of weeks - I'll show you around
