The bars are closed now. You can go to the one or two gay clubs in the Zona, you'll find a few girls in there.

I'm so happy I found this thread before I left! I'm visiting in SD till 11am tomorrow and have had NO luck with this. I'm staying in old town and would love to meet a lady or go to a club in TJ (from the sounds of it all the good ones are closed in TJ). I'm literally about to hop in the shower and go to TJ for a dayrun. I went there last weekend and heard all the horror stories as well! We went to Madona's for some GG time then I made a run to pick something up and just 3 blocks away from revolucion was dangerville. Stay on revo and you should be fine. We missed the last trolley so took a $80 cab ride home at 4:30am (we were told not to stay out that late, but we had such a good time).
I've been to the lowliest of low places in Colombia to find someone so wasn't too intimidated. I'd like to avoid the north end but it's daytime now so I should be fine.

I walk around all parts of TJ at night... Be smart, don't drink or at least don't get drunk. I don't stand out, nobody has bothered me.

I am more interested in saving money these days even if its very affordable.
