In my opinion, bottoms aren't inferior in any regard.
Unfortunately, the overwhelming public opinion around here is that anything gay or gay-associated is bad. It's not just the "straight" men whom act on insecurities. It's some of the straight girls because they don't want the community or their lives associated with the stereotype that being transgendered is the same as being gay.

I'm in a camp that couldn't care less. I figure I'm mostly straight, but bisexual could be a better determination because I'm obviously not 100% straight. C'mon, I'm a regular poster on a transsexual porn forum. That's why I kind of have a personal chuckle whenever I see anybody claim to be as straight as an arrow, but you won't see me commenting to correct them or me making a big deal out of it.
