That removes the largest motivation for circumcision. Religious belief. There are some religions that expect families to have their sons circumcised 'else they can't be a member of their church. Are you really trying to screw with family religious dynamic just so a child can grow up shunned by their family's faith and decide at age 18 that they just don't want a circumcision anyway? I mean, honestly... can you think of any 18 year old kids who would elect to be circumcised?

My parents had me circumcised but if I had a son I'm not sure I would. I'm fine with mine but not sure if it's necessary. I'd definitely carefully consider discussion from both sides.
