I was young pretty much in the pre-AIDS era, which was much freer when it came to sex (yes, even freer!); middle of the still flowery 70s-beginning of the 80s… And I was myself pretty wild… Sex was not too hard to get by. I cant vote...because believe or not..I have NEVER been with anyone. i.e NEVER had sex.

You say you haven't held your virginity by choice, but it is by choice. You can't tell me that you haven't been hit on at least once in the last 18 years. That's not even a probability. I just can't believe you haven't tried. I'm not asking for an explanation... of course I'm curious, but I'm not trying to get that personal. I'm already being rude and that's crossing the line.

If you do have a personal reason for your virginity, the only nice thing I can think to say is that I envy your willpower. I just don't want to be fake about it and fill your head with the same lies everybody else has. "Oh, it'll happen eventually. All you have to do is wait", "it'll be a horrible experience if you force it to happen", "that's admirable", "It's refreshing to hear that somebody is practicing abstinence". Sex hardly ever happens by sheer circumstance, people make it happen; contrived sex is anything but horrible, and holding onto your V-card at age 30 is neither admirable or refreshing; it's weird; and I can guarantee you that the same people who say supportive things about your choice to remain abstinent aren't thinking supportive things.

I'd suggest either finding a way to ditch that virginity of yours if you're at all comfortable doing so, or just stop telling people that you're a virgin. It's not impressive. It is surprising, though... seriously, I'm still scratching my head on that. You're purdy as a paint job on a parakeet. Why must your gonads remain unfondled and neglected? It saddens me.

I tend to agree pretty much with everything GrimFusion just said, Evelyn, especially when it comes to sex as something you make happen. Many guys are not too delicate about it. Of course, find someone whom you feel is respecting you. But if you have desire and want it, you have to just let go. Find someone delicate and respectful for you and do it. Many times, the first time is far from being the best. Sex, like anything you do, is something you get better at with practice.

Practice is so overrated, though. It's really not necessary. The first time I ever had sex I was told I was a lousy fuck. I didn't have sex again for another two years because I figured my rhythm was horrible and I couldn't find anyone I could trust to have lousy practice sex with. Come to find out, that lousy fuck session was half her fault and I was just overly self-conscience about it. The second time I ever had sex, I knocked that vulva out of the park. Sure, there are little tricks to pick up here-and-there, but they're easy to learn. Sex really shouldn't be stressing people out like that. There's not enough to it to stress about.
