Default Why Dont MOST TS Change Their Gender Marker or Birth Names????

    I have been in transtion/hrt since 19.....

I come across time and time again Most notable TS porn stars/escorts....Given Birth Name & Original Gender markers....

    My question is this.....

When you look the way you do..TOTALLY Female...Make LOTS of cash....and pretty much have a good start...

Why do they wait so freakin long to change their birth name or Gender marker with DMV??? I know its a little harder with SSA but still.

But what got me thinking was the thing EDITED ( aka Sarina Valentina ) I was looking up her arrest records ( was curious..sue me..lol ) and she was still listed as Male at the time of her arrest.... EDITED ( aka Anna Alexandra ) was another that dint bother to change name.

I'm sure she has looked the way she has for a very long time. ( 100% passable ) She has lots of money...and Nevada just last year put out a form where u could change your gender marker via DMV with a doctors note basically. I have seen a LOT of TS/Escorts arrest records...and they all look the same.

I'm just curious..What stops these girls from making the change document wise??? Is it because when you dont change your documents...You still have the allure of being TS ( i.e Male, whilst looking female ??? )

Or is it that you look soooooooooooooooo freakin passable as a woman...That is doesnt really matter if your gender says "male" and your name is Tyrone ???

What happins when you try to go get a job....Example....You apply for a job nd get an interview.. @ the interview..You LOOK like Jennifer Paris...But your documents states that u are male....and had your male birth name.... Do you have to find a company with a SOUND EEO Policy???

I'm curious...The question has been on my mind for a VERY long time.

This is the BEST place to ask!

    Thank You

    xoxo

I find it strange that some TS (who are def not TVs) on adultwork.com leave their gender marker as Male.

As for the rest of it , it varies from country to country on the ease and legality plus the personal preferences/apathy of the individual or in the case of the USA from judge to judge

In some cases it would be a third-party who's recording the gender mark and in those cases it could come down to honesty, prejudice or stupidity.

It's a relatively straightforward process in the UK and certainly not down to the whims and prejudices of an individual judge. I've accompanied a couple of friends in transition for their name change and it's a bit like renewing your driving licence at the post office lol. Neither of them were sex workers, by the way - just ordinary girls fulfilling one more stage of their transition to womanhood.

No posting legal names here unless it's been released by the individual or part of a media article.

Had to look that one up. To be fair you did get a pretty cool name that could go either way. It wasn't no, Horace, Dwight or Englebert.
