Talking to a girl tonight at Divas in SF, she was convinced that the vast majority of admirers harbor transgendered feelings. Not only are they obsessed with cock, she said that often, they wish they could be her, and that gets them off. I couldn't really argue with her, since she's probably knows the tendencies of tranny-chasers more than me.

Most guys here probably wouldn't admit anything, so it would be great to hear the perspective of transwomen.

I'd be inclined to agree with the girl. I was fantasising and even indulging in cross-dressing since my very early teens. The only problem back then was that there was no net or "community" to speak of, so my love of it stayed unjustly private.

But I will answer the question (which I guess I already have). Yeah, I agree with all of that. It's not the first time I've seen this correlation being suggested though, that trans-attracted men are in some way trans themselves. I have no doubt it is the case for some; once again we hit up against the depressing lack of research in this area.

Agreed. For me, being open about my attraction to TS/TG women took a long time and was a struggle in many ways. It's a lot easier now, if anybody questions it I just show 'em a couple of pictures and it is usually enough to shut them up. Yeah I lost a few acquaintances but on reflection, were they really friends? A little OT maybe, sorry.
