I do both. Regularly. It's my full time job. Porn is a LOT more work. You have to look and perform your best no matter how many takes you do, how often you start and stop you have to be ON or you set an entire crew back. A scene can easily eat up a day depending on how smoothly the production company is running on any particular day. The heat from the lights is enough to make a lot of people give up after only a few shoots. Plus the egos, travel, waiting, makeup retouching, lack of lunch/dinner breaks, bad attitudes, equipment failure. The list goes on and on and if you work the back end like I do there is a whole other world of variables that can completely fuck up your day if any one thing goes belly up.

Escorting on the other hand requires you to post an ad. Wait for a phone call. Suck an overly excited dick for twenty minutes and then collect 200 dollars. All from the comfort and privacy of your own home, on your own time.

That’s the way I would view it: sex is sex and it’s no big deal. If anyone is contemptuous towards a girl because she’s escorting, he’s a moron living on another planet. I have known cam performers whose monthly income surprised me -being far in excess of what I expected. Seven or so years ago I was told by a reasonably well-known porn performer (at that time) that she got $3,000 for a combined photo-shoot and video -but maybe that was for more than one session so I can't otherwise comment, but Liberty's figure of 800 seems small to me, unless that is the market rate today.

now some peeps get more here and there etc , or if a model is really really in demand then there is leverage ..it also depends on the run of shoots you get get ....

so lets say you get 4 scenes over 2days , you will earn some nice money ....

It would seem to me both are a means to an end, but isn't it about who's in control? One takes place under a controled enviornment and set of circumstances, and one is totally random.

I've heard cam shows bring good money too. They're in control of their surroundings not having to deal with a client or another performer. The safety and security is a real plus. I always worry about the girls I visit.

Those figures are right. I've heard models say they've been paid huge sums to other producers but it's all just posturing in order to try and raise the rate or put themselves above other girls.
