$3000? As amberskyi says, #industryoutsiders! While a single film may pay OK, how many scenes can a girl shoot in a week? Whereas a successful escort can service multiple clients per day, which can add up significantly. Money-wise, escorting can be far more profitable. But consider the risks: health risks are present in both, but far risker in escorting, not to mention possible violence or theft. I've known far too many escorts who have been beaten or robbed, which doesn't occur with professional studios.

But the biggest difference is all in what a person feels OK doing. I've known lots of escorts who would never do porn, and lots of porn actors who would never escort, and those who do both. It's a choice depending on the risks and rewards and what one feels OK doing.
