Well, she should have gotten a lesser charge than what she was prosecuted under. there's a whole thread on here somewhere about it. As a lawyer, I think she should have gotten a lesser manslaughter charge, but it was a Murder in the 1st that she was convicted under. Do a search on here for the thread on her. Her lawyer advertises quite proudly that he got her off on the murder in the 1st degree charge. She was found guilty of murder in the second degree, plus some aggravating firearms charge, hence 45 to life.
