Actually as a commercial this does exactly what they want it to do... folks are talking about the ad and mentioning it's for the new car. The goal of this is product awareness and they are doing it with shock value. The images tie to the tag line and message they want conveyed about their car (it's unique and for folks who want to be different)... this is a win on that point.
