I'm proud of each and every one.

    Maybe it's the Pirate Alphabet:

    Aye
    Arr
    Ayy

I was often mistaken for Canadian by Bostonians that just couldn't believe that I am originally from there (Bawsten). In turn, it wasn't until listening to some area businessmen recently that I actually heard the Brahmen accent (Probably because I have been away from Boston for twenty-something years and now hear it as a 'foreign' accent). Some of them really =do= say "erah" in between words and sentences.

"So, erah, how's yer muddah? Giver my, erah, regahds".

It's a nautical term, which stands for an affirmative answer.
