Western Europe is a crowded place all over. We always think of Asia as the most crowded, but in fact the density of the population was, up to the 80s, I think, superior to that of Asia. I think the ratio was, back then, of 89 inhabitant by square kilometre against 69 for Asia. I haven’t seen the numbers in a while, but I assume the density in Europe is probably still at least equal to that of Asia…
