Head bans transgender pupil from exam... so she shows him Equality Act

A TRANSGENDER pupil had to show her headmaster a copy of the Equality Act before he allowed her to sit a GCSE exam while wearing girls’ clothes.

Ashlyn Parram, 16, turned up for her first examination in tights, skirt and blazer — but was told by teachers to go home and change into the boys’ school uniform.

Wow. Creepy. A 16 year old girl, spat on, hit in the street, and then mocked and marginalized by her teachers. Not the most glorious the UK has to offer by far (and I find it personally to be a great country for anything else).

Yet, one thing that stands out is how this young woman is able to stand for herself. I’m not sure what it is about transsexual women that they so often seem to be so bright and resourceful, way above average. Might have something to do with such a harsh reality they face; they have to react to just have a life others deny them.

What do you mean, Sammi? I suppose the Sun is a very pop paper. You think they will use her or that story to sell paper? It wouldn’t be too good for the poor girl indeed. But at least they denounced that school. Is the Sun that bad?

Normally I'd agree Sammi but having just read that article I'd have to applaud The Sun (the horror, the horror) on getting the terminology and the tone of the story, spot on!

regardless of the article, i do not read the sun, it will only end up with her getting more public attention, thats how it works, she prolly lives in a dodgy area so you do the maths.

She would of better seen citizens advice and took proper action instead of a few hundred quid to be in the sun.

regardless of the article, i do not read the sun, it will only end up with her getting more public attention, thats how it works, she prolly lives in a dodgy area so you do the maths.

She would of better seen citizens advice and took proper action instead of a few hundred quid to be in the sun.

Then again, might she not give the question a broad audience to judge it? She might get a large number of people to awareness. No? But of course, she would need to be very strong…
