My police officer father took me to see The Exorcist when I was 6. No problem. See? Documentary when you're that young and Catholic. One of the children was 3 months, the other 6 years, apparently. But really, a three-month-old has no idea what's happening on screen at all, so I fail to see the problem from a guidance perspective. Regardless, it seems to me that Mr. McThirsty is much more concerned about having a 'quiet' theater than protecting children.

I would never repeat what my dad did. He knew it would traumatize a 6 year old but wanted to toughen his son up. I was not allowed to cry, yell, or make a sound in the theater. My mother was furious and I had nightmares and vomiting fits for a week.

I didn't blame my father because I knew his father.

I hope so- and I didn't realize it was something they were considering. Terry's character is a much better choice to take up the mantle (and cowl) than any of Bruce Wayne's wards - and we obviously have the technology to move the films ahead a generation.

The villains will need some work- thinking about the jokers gang now, I imagine a bunch of bath salt tweakers roaming the streets.

My ex forced my son to watch Saw for supposedly the same reason. She doesn't want him to grow up 'like me,' i.e. transsexual.
