I’m somewhat ashamed to say there isn’t an empty spot in my well filled life single malt scotch whisky hasn’t been able to fully replenish. I have come to believe the gods have inspired it to the Scots –as indeed it seems to have been imported by “spirited” Irish priests in the north of Brittany.
As Bukowski said, forget all the naysayers, it’s really difficult to be a real drunk, it takes amazing adherence, almost athleticism. I unfortunately don’t have such a wonderful luxury anymore, having the health problems of my age, bit of hyper tension, etc. But I haven’t quit yet…

I enjoy the taste of a good adult beverage but I hate the loss of control that comes along with to much drinking. These days with my tolerance the way it is I tend to get full or sick before I get drunk anyway.

Yeap, Prospero, Wendy is right.. But there’s pretty much the same relation between the quality of the inebriation as there is between the quality of the different beverages. A good scotch gives you witt; at least I can’t find myself to be a dull drunk and I won’t ask around…

Does that come in scotch version ? Does that come with a “terroir” mark, a regional land, and with a production date ? “18 years old Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky Dick”, for instance?
