Why around 85-90% of guys that like T-girls don't have a real Avatar of themselves?

I think there are a LOT of reasons why dudes would prefer to stay anonymous on a forum like HA. Sometimes it's about privacy, accountability, and reputation, but I wouldn't be surprised if a good deal of dudes just can't be assed to pick up a camera, click a button and upload a picture.

I don't have much of a reputation online, so if I'm running it through the mud it isn't that big a deal. There's been times when I say something so stupid I did wish I used a completely different username on HA, but honest apologies are pretty effective too.

My avatar is me, but no faces. Internet anonymity is a good thing for people who aren't making a living from their internet presence. My Linkdin profile does have my face, but that's strictly work; pics of me on FB, but only "friends" see them. None of my other internet memberships have my face.

I'm generally averse to posting pics online and if I do it wouldn't be a clear shot. If I were independently wealthy or didn't rely on others to earn a living, I wouldn't give a shit. However, I work in a role and for a company that considers posting on a porn site as a negative. I don't want to lose my income. If this board wasn't primarily focused on porn I wouldn't have a problem posting a pic. I'm not ashamed of my opinions and don't have a problem with someone confronting me on the street about them so that doesn't factor into my reasons.

I dont think this is a dating site and I woud never date anyone from here because its a bunch of lurkers but I still think that sometimes is good to put a face to a nickname, but thats just my two cents.

I could care less if guys post their pictures or not but I just had the curiosity of whats their reason not to post any.
