LOL. Some history for you guys. Both Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson were fans of the essay by Simon Stevin in which for the first time a decimal system was proposed "to make life easier". It was probably considered too revolutionary and was not introduced in the US, France did so along the same revolutionary thought of making life easier for everyone. It actually makes you have to memorize less, and is easier understood by even less intelligent people.
